SoMa High-End, Handmade Menswear
ED7, a new loftique—a boutique infused in a loft, opens today infusing SoHo style with SoMa flair. Like Bootie SF features a mash up of bastard pop, ED7′s aesthetic is a mash up of vintage, worn, and designer wear for the highly fashionable, urbane gent.
David Asher, former CEO of eLuxury with tours of duty at both Bergdorff Goodman and Vivienne Westwood, founded ED7 in homage to King Edward the VII—a visionary for the fashionable elite and cosmopolitans of the early 1900′s. Flanked by Brianna and Aurora, they’ve deftly metamorphosized high-end shopping into a sensory experience replete with electronic lounge beats and streaming rays of afternoon sun.
ED7 features a range of one-of-a-kind products from $140 Dior Homme jeans to $5,000 Vintage Hermes leather jackets. An idiosyncratic collection that doesn’t lend itself to categories, there are three primary styles: avant-garde (e.g., Belgian designer Martin Margiela), posh (vintage, handmade European menswear from Banford & Sons), and traditional—rattling off names like Prada, Gucci, Burberry, Alexander McQueen, and Fendi.
They are hosting their Loftique Launch Party this afternoon for FiDi professionals playing hooky and continuing into the evening to accommodate everyone else. This microbrew mixer will feature DJ Sep D, modeling, and special deals. Grand Opening today, June 19, 3 – 9pm; RSVP with contact info below.
