UPDATE: The Princess Project just realized that fall is for football, and spring is for prom. The event has been postponed till Spring ’10.
Corsages and Boutonnières Encouraged
You might no longer believe in fairy tales… but there is someone else out there hoping to be fit with a glass slipper.
On Saturday, September 19th, recapture the magic of that climactic high school experience at the Prom Redux. Have a date? Then sweep them off their feet. Or turn a toad into a prince. Either way, this evening presents boundless opportunities… starting with a reason to dig into the deep recesses of your closet since prom attire from all decades is encouraged. You can turn back the clock to the radical and flowery 70′s, the flashy and glam 80′s, or the simple and elegant 90′s… except this time you won’t need to hide beers in the trunk of your parents’ Oldsmobile.
Unlike other big nights on the town, there will be no hangover… your ticket will help send a girl to her prom. Your host for the gala is the Princess Project—a non-profit organization who promotes self-confidence and individual beauty by providing free prom dresses and accessories to high school girls who cannot otherwise afford them. For this prom season, the Princess Project conjured up Cinderella moments for over 3,300 girls!
Beauty is a treasure, but graciousness is priceless.
