Tonight, ease into the week with a few drinks, live music and real-time art. Fort Mason Center hosts this eclectic, last Monday of the month event buzzing with end of week-like energy. Selected artists invent their masterpieces from scratch at their personal workspaces. Unlike other gallery shows where patrons are herded from exhibit to exhibit, here, folks dance around like a candle-flame flickering in the wind. Even these artists’ business cards are a spectacle. All art is available for purchase at affordable prices from $5 – $50.
Like the 111 Minna Sketch Tuesday, art is complemented with some keen beats. Fingersnaps DJ spins the live music for this evening. Even the music is approachable… step up to the stage and he might share a few freebies on how to scratch, mix, and perform a couple of turntable tricks. Still not satiated? $2 tacos and sweet treats are cooked up fresh by Chaac-Mool and Batter & Dough. mmm meets MMM.
