Point Break Live, the absurdist stage adaptation of the classic 90′s flick, makes theater visceral. This “full-immersion” performance features armed robbery, big-wave surfing, car chases, and even skydiving! But instead of being on the beach, you’ll be in the barrel… with scenes including an indoor monsoon and fake blood, the “survivor kit” makes a smart purchase. Arrive early and make sure you grab a drink or three on the way in. First-come, first-served for both seating and serving.

As any surfer will tell you, no two waves are the same, nor are any two shows. Why? Someone from the audience is selected by applause to play the starring role of Johnny Utah, capturing the, umm, rawness of a Keanu Reeves performance. The cue card lackey feeds lines to the protagonist and will even stand in as the stunt double when necessary. You might not learn how to surf, but at least you won’t become fish food.
