Nombe (Mission)
nombe-mission.jpgPrefer to eat late, but you want to avoid burritos and slices of pizza? Experience Nombe—an izikaya joint in the heart of the Mission. The fish of the day specials on the chalkboard are actually written in chalk, which means that it is updated daily. The catch is primarily locally-sourced, with a few specials from Alaska or even the Tsukiji Fish Market. Delight in the desserts which include mocchi with citrus and walnut cream and beignets with chocolate ganache. BYOB, until the ABC issues their license. If you are really on the go, they offer a selection of oden or ramen so you can head back out to the bars.

2491 Mission St.
Open Wed – Mon, 6pm – 2am.
